Manteca Waterslides operated at Oakwood Lake Resort in Manteca, California, from 1974 until September 2004. Budge Brown and his wife Arlene developed the park and campground. Budge pioneered modular fiberglass waterslides, and the park became especially known for its towering V-Max slide.
The waterpark is no longer operating. Its history—and the memories of people who visited—offer inspiration for Waterpark 3D.
